yay! prelims are over!

went out to celebrate by watching azumanga daioh...chiyo-chan is so cute...and i swear her braids have a life of their own...Osaka kinda represents me in a way...when there is something that doesn't interest her her mind starts wondering in alien territory...and she starts following the floating things in her eyes...her condition is more ...serious, however. lol

then went to suntec to view the food fest....pretty derivative stuff. Shark's fins, laksa, mackerel otah..duck rolls...if they are so popular year after year why don't ppl just set up a shop selling them regularly? Like sharks fins... Haha i liked one of the new pdts that was showcased...a scallop floss which came in at $5 dollars a bottle...i bought two :)

hmmm....while it might have seemed that wrote off the prelims completely...that doesn't mean that i haven't been awakened by the revelations that it brought. Which is that if i take the A's tmr....i'm gonna get culled faster than u can say bird flu. Just how did i score 7 a1s for my O's? In typical oh its not my fault fashion....i could just have put it down to study fatigue after the O's...maybe the pressure affected me so greatly that the thought of studying just put me off completely. Or maybe all my brain cells have been hard-wired with all that information that i can't accept new ones. But that would been just skirting responsibility on my part for the predicament i'm in. Cos no matter how much the teachers in vjc suck...i suck more. period. I'm lazy, irresponsible, unreasonable, complacent and arrogant...and much more

Now my only hope is to try and replicate the formula that allowed me to get what i got....looking back i wasn't exceptionally hard-working in sec4. The only notable thing i could think abt was that i managed to stay awake during lessons. And i remembered following the syllabus to a T. What i can remember is how i did it...Did i come up with essay plans? Or write out whole answers? Did i just read thru the textbook and commited every diagram every paragraph to memory? or did i just practise tys till my hands bled? bcos siriusly i can't rem what i did...and i trashed all my o-level notes in a fit of disgust after the exams....Its like this time warp thing where my sec 4 years just vanished somewhere...maybe it was the sleep deprivation that did it

I'm trying a combination of all to see which gave me good results....For chem i did tys.....For maths i did tutorials and for bio i followed the syllabus....for econs i didn't study though....die. Haha if econs really came up highest i'm gonna laugh...cos i have this nagging suspicion aliens made me smarter in sec4...its a whole lot realistic than all my other theories haha. In which case i'd like to invite them to tea to discuss commercial opportunities. Do u noe how much anxious parents spent on "nutritional" supplements and overweight(with cash) tution teachers....Think of all that money...

haha whatever it is i better do it fast...theres like wat a month before the A-levels? And haha if anything happens to me my brothers and sisters...its not your fault. LOL
